Pedigree: By "Hamlet (No.876)" out of "Lort's Sal (No.1278)" by "Hon. H. Powis's Romp (No.998)". Chief Performances: Dog Shows, Crystal Palace, champion prize and extra prize for the best pointer in the show, 1871; Birmingham, 1st prize, 1865; champion prize, 1866; champion prize, 1868; champion prize and extra prize, 1869; champion prize, 1870; champion prize and extra prize, 1871; champion prize, 1872; champion prize and extra prize for best pointer, 1873; Liverpool, 1st prize, 1868; Maidstone, 1st prize, 1869; Field Trials, Stafford, 1867, entered in the Lichfield Stakes, but not placed; Vaynol, 1871, divided 2nd prize in the Pointer Braces; entered in the All-aged Pointer Stakes, but not placed (winner of several other prizes at local shows)." -- EKC Studbook, 1874, Vol.I
