F.Ch. Milligan's Dan (dog, liver/white/ticked, w: May 16, 1918, FDSB 45055)
|
"Dr. R.L. Milligan, of Montgomery, Ala., has a dog by "Comanche Frank", out of "Girlie Cash", called "Milligan's Dan". He is not known to the world as a performer, but during the season of 1922 and '23 he came into notoriety by reason of three of his get winning in field trials; two of these were "Oklahoma City Joe", owned by C.S. Proctor, of Oklahoma City and
"McTyre", owned by Scott Hudson, of Atlanta, Ga. What they will do as all-age dogs is yet to be shown, but these two, at least, attracted considerable attention, especially the Proctor dog, for he won consistently in the larger amateur events of the Southwest."
